Since 2013, I have dedicated all my energy and time towards making new instruments, and teaching. While I no longer offer repairs or restorations as a part of my business, I am available for tonal adjustments.

My years of playing and making have given me a unique understanding of the forces in play on violin family instruments. Bringing balance to these elements in a way that makes an instrument comfortable and beautiful to the musician is rewarding.

A lecture by Marilyn Wallin will take place at the Renaissance Mansion in Omaha, Nebraska on November 9th at 7:00pm. The audience will get a look behind the scenes of expertise and identification while looking at excellent photographs of classic masterpieces. The focus will be on how these skills inform the work of a contemporary violinmaker’s work at the bench. Live music and a lovely reception to follow. Please attend this 4th Master Class Talk.
